[A client came in asking for a perm, but I turned her down... 🙅🏻♀️] A few days ago, a client came to see me wanting a layered perm. But the moment I touched her hair, I discovered she'd had it straightened just 4 months ago, and her ends were already over-processed and completely fried. I told her straight up: "There's really no way I can perm your hair today. Forcing a perm will only make your hair break off. Being able to get a perm and getting a beautiful perm are two different things." As a hairstylist, rather than making money off an extra service, I care more about whether my client's hair is truly healthy and manageable once she's back home. In the end, I did a hair colour and deep conditioning treatment for her, readjusted her cut, and we agreed that once the fried hair had slowly been trimmed away, I'd perm her hair then! After it was all done, the client said to me: "I should have come to you sooner!" I smiled and replied: "Our paths just hadn't crossed yet~ 😉" Hair design: Hong Kong-style perm | Layered perm ✨️ Tsim Sha Tsui female hairstylist Kate Choi Phone: 60888479 WhatsApp (Closed on Thursdays)
