I think one of the biggest surprises for my new clients is seeing the difference between a “standard” extension bond and what we actually do in the studio. Most places will just apply the bonds exactly how they come from the factory, but those are often too chunky and heavy, especially if you have finer hair or like to wear your hair up. I take the time to custom-size every single one into a “micro” bond. It’s a much more meticulous process, but it’s the only way to make sure your extensions are completely invisible and, more importantly, that they don’t put unnecessary tension on your natural hair.
