Today we received an urgent request from a customer (who did not get their ears pierced at our shop). Their ear piercing became infected and was not treated promptly, causing the area to become increasingly swollen. Today, they discovered that the earring had even become embedded in the piercing 😖. The customer had their ears pierced at a chain jewelry store and had returned to the store for help, but the store does not handle or follow up on ear piercing infections. Fortunately, a staff member at the store recommended they come to EAR.CO for assistance. (We have no partnership with them—they might just happen to know us 🤣.) The customer also consulted a dermatologist, who recommended a minor surgical procedure under anesthesia. The doctor quoted around $2,500–$3,500, which shocked the customer, as they hadn’t expected surgery to be necessary 😖. In the end, they came to us for help 👍🏻. (The owner’s comment: No need for such a big fuss with surgery—it’s a piece of cake 🤣.) For cases like this, the process takes about 15–20 minutes. We use a special medical antiseptic solution to disinfect and clean the wound, remove the earring with professional tools (no surgery required), drain the pus and blood from the piercing, and finally replace it with a longer stud earring to complete the process ✅. The customer said they felt much better immediately afterward 👍🏻. If you encounter a situation you can’t handle on your own or have a special case, our [Ear Piercing Care Service] might be able to help ✨. We’ve handled many cases but can’t share them all 🙏🏻, as the owner is often very busy 😵💫 and doesn’t always have time to take photos to share 😫. [Ear Piercing Care Service] charges $150 per ear piercing per session. For non-urgent cases, please make an appointment 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. ⭕️ For emergencies, walk-ins are accepted on the same day, but the waiting time is generally longer.
