31/8/2025 Advanced class 3 hours @sergiokong12 from Macau @chicthebarberandco traveled all the way to Sau Wa Fong for the Advanced Haircutting course. He is already an excellent barber and a barbershop owner. I simply shared with him my 1) Firm-line cutting theory and 2) Scalp-shape copy & paste layering technique. He was amazed by how the firm-line cutting technique creates such a full-bodied feel in a haircut. Meanwhile, I was amazed by his determination to become a barber after graduating from law school in Macau. 🙏🏽 Many barbers only focus on the fade but never maintain a firm silhouette for the haircut. Sergio was curious about the transitions I create for our clients, and honestly, it all comes down to the silhouette! We, as barbers (hair designers), work on how to deliver an excellent silhouette for each specific client, from the shoulders to the top of the head.
