31/8/2025 Advanced class 3 hours @sergiokong12 from Macau @chicthebarberandco came all the way to Sau Wa Fong for the Advanced Haircut course. He’s already a great barber and a barbershop owner. I was just sharing my 1) Firm-line cutting theory and 2) Scalp-shape copy&paste layering technique to him. He was amazed by how the firm-line cutting technique created such fullness feel of a haircut. While I was amazed by how determined he was to be a barber after graduated from Law school in Macau. Many barbers only concerned about the fade but never stay firm with the silhouette of the haircut. Ar Hei was wondering about the transition I did on our clients and frankly it’s all about Silhouette! We , as a barber (a hair designer ) are working on how to deliver a great silhouette to the specific client, from shoulder to the top of the head. We are not someone who just shear the hair off the head.
